Ralph Hopcraft died on June 8th 1998 age 61 in Dryburn Hospital in Durham.
Dad you are the most loved and respected man I know and Im proud to say you are my Dad. Your love and kindness was second to none. Loads of people respect you.
Dad I cant believe this year is your 13th anniversary it only seems like yesterday you were here. You are loved and missed more than ever.
You left a big huge hole that no one can fill Dad. You loved mam so much, she was so proud of you and still is. We keep an eye on her Dad Julie and Glynis between them. Im a little to far away and phone her a lot.
Dad this is Abigail Jade your greatgrand daughter with mam. She is a big sister now to Olivia Grace, your second Great Grandaughter. As you know now Caitlin Rose is here and is now 2years old. Shes beautiful.
Dad another little princess Emilie May . She arrived on 26th November 2010. 7lb 13oz.
We, that is Julie and Keith and the boys David Gary and Paul and Glynis and Stephen and her two Kane and Kristie, and of course Peter Mark and Lucy.
Amy, Laura,Jaquie and Sarah and of course Micheal didnt get to meet you Dad, but Im sure they would all have loved you so much. Also your Great Grandson Myles, now 3. Finley is one year old on the 12 December Dad these babies are growing up quick.Added today Dad on 10th March 2011 Freya was born to David and Jackie and on 29th July2011 Taylor was born to Paul and Laura.
Dad I know you are waiting for us all but you have a special task to do. You have your Grandaughter Lucy's little girl Abigail Jade Haley to protect for us. Please dad look out for her until we are reunited. God knows we miss you both. No teasing her with Piglet and Giraffee.
Your brothers, Alan Eric lived in Hull and Holland. Alan died in much the same way cancer. Eric we contacted after a long time to tell him you were ill. He died not long after you. All three muskateers together again. Look out Heaven they have arrived.
I believe your happy there Dad where ever you are and your taking Abigail Jade in your stride. I know you will treasure her Dad. Keep her safe until we meet again. Love you always and forever Dad.

HI Dad, since we last chatted we have a budding dancer and in Olivia and Caitlin cant stop singing and chatting. Emilie is 14lb and 11oz and starting to show her cheeky face. Mam is ok shes doing fine. Still cantacerous about council and workmen and calls from answer phone systems but thats her. Glynis is running up and down country like a bluebottle, Julie is ok too.
Mark and Lucy are fine and Mark is heading off to Helsinki to do a year over there in Uni so fun for him.

Hi Dad, Although not far from my thoughts I have been helping Lucy with her girls. Dad your great grand children are increasing in number. You now have seven and one on route. Abigail the one who is with you, now aged 4 &1/2. Olivia age 2 & 1/2 Caitlin age 1 &1/2 and Emilie age 15 weeks from Lucy. You have Myles from Gary age 4 Finley age 2 and now Freya 2 days from David. And pauls is on the way. Dad you would havae loved them all.
